What exactly are poker bots and what do they do?
The term bot is short for robot, which means a poker bot is a robot that plays poker, plain and simple.
The use of bots is actually frowned upon by most online poker sites but very few actually do anything about these. The reason may be because these bots help keep players playing and only very few players actually use bots most of the time. These bots simply play for these players when they need to do something else, like eat, sleep, do household chores and such, without having to interrupt their game while doing so.
